There are opportunities abundant for music in the community! Besides our programs for each grade level, your students can participate in any number of musical activities outside of school. Below are a few suggestions!

Take Piano Lessons!!

I offer piano lessons to any students K-2 at BCPS who would like to learn to apply the knowledge they are gaining in the music room to a real life experience: playing the piano. Piano lessons are given after school Tuesday-Fridays, 3:30-5:00 in thirty minute time slots for $20 per lesson. All funds paid go towards purchasing new instruments and repairing old ones for the music room! Join Georgia Children's Chorus!!

Second Graders (children 7 or older): If you are interested in performing in Georgia Children's Chorus, you can audition for the group! Just contact Georgia Children's Chorus at GCC@uga.edu or 706-542-8711 and ask for audition information.
